2017 Marlborough Wine & Food Festival
Some adventures begin at home

#MarlWineFest2017

Stunning weather greeted the 8,000 sell out crowd at this year's 2017 Marlborough Wine & Food Festival.  In its 26th year, the event attracts festival goers from around the world. With over 60 wineries from New Zealand's premier wine region offering tastings, one can hardly blame wine lovers from making this a destination on their trip to New Zealand.  And of course, there's plenty of locals too.  Buses bring punters in from all four corners of Marlborough for the all day event.

This year the Mud House team were keen to show off the new Sub Region Series range which was launched in New Zealand last spring.  The new range proved very popular with the crowd; in particular the much lauded Pinot Rose sold out around 45 minutes before the end of the festival.  The afternoon visitors to the stand were entertained by local musicians The Steeps and enjoyed the shade offered by the umbrellas and beanbags that are now part and parcel of the Mud House offering at the Festival.
