Mud House teamed up with Chur Burger for the month of June to give wine and burger loving Sydney-siders a taste of New Zealand.
For four weeks, punters got their hands on the Mud House and Chur Burger Meal Deal. A glass of Mud House wine, a gourmet burger and a side for twenty bucks. It doesn't get much sweeter than than.
"Good winemaking is about creating layers and textures, just like crafting a great burger. The melding together of fruit flavours, spice, acid and tannin are the main components." says Mud House Winemaker Cleighten Cornelius. "Whether you're a carnivore, pescatarian or vegetarian, there's a Chur burger for you, just like there's a Mud House wine to suit every palate."
Warren Turnbull, also a Kiwi and boss of hip burger join Chur Burger, was stoked to be tasked with creating four bespoke burgers matched with Mud House wine. "I'm pretty partial to Kiwi wine, so cooking up these Mud House burger matches made me feel right at home. We think the results are pretty awesome."
